 Welcome.

This site serves the repository for all agreed-upon server information including server rules, throne rotation, and the current KOS list.

Outside of SvS

  1. NAP (Non-Aggression Pact; meaning no attacking or being attacked) between all alliances with at least 2 active members. Active member count excludes alts and dead castles. Solo players and players with monarch in their name may be attacked at any time, even if they are in an alliance.

  2. Attacks on resource tiles, relics, ruins, pyramids, and Barbarian Castles (specifically the Barbarian itself, not the occupying unbubbled player) are prohibited, except against KOS players.

  3. Attacks on players capturing a sub-city won during an event are prohibited during the 10-minute occupation period.

  4. A player who breaks a rule has the opportunity to make compensation within 24 hours of the request. If they fail to do so, they will be declared KOS (Kill on Sight) via Royal Mail.

    An alliance harboring a KOS player has 12 hours to expel them; otherwise, the entire alliance will be declared KOS.

  5. A monarch expelled/leaving  their alliance cannot attack or be attacked for 48 hours.

  6. An alliance wishing to leave the NAP must declare its intent 24 hours ahead of time or they will be KOS.

    Purge and SvS

  7. Purge begins two hours before Server verses Server (SvS), which is the last phase of the monarch competitions in which we compete against another assigned server. Players who wish to participate must add “Purge” to their name. Bubbles must be up and all troops inside the castle.

  8. Gathering, exploring relics or ruins, etc., is prohibited during both purge and SvS and can result in KOS.

  9. All attacks are permitted (resource tiles, relics, etc.) to avoid giving points to the opponent.

  10. Sub-cities cannot be stolen.

  11. Point trading is punishable by KOS status

    New Rules

  12. New rule: In the event of a dropped bubble by accident for 3 times the player will be expelled from their alliance and will be banned from joining an alliance for 2 weeks. If this happens a fourth time, the expulsion will be permanent. If there is a repeat offense after that, a KOS status may be discussed. An alliance that refuses to expel its sanctioned member, or recruits one, will be banned from the NAP.

  13. A player who enters the Top 5 with a negative score of more than 750 million is not eligible for throne. A player in top 5 with a negative score of 750 million or less can redeem themselves by achieving a net positive score of at least 500m in subsequent SvS events to qualify for the throne.

    Example 1: player in top 5 with a score of 2 billion positive and 2.8 billion negative is not eligible for throne and cannot redeem themselves

    Example 2: Player in top 5 with a score of 2 billion positive and 2.740 negative is eligible for throne if they score net positive in a future SVS 500 or more e.g. 2b positive and 1.45b negative.

If any player violates these rules and does not provide compensation, the server ruler (King/Queen) may declare them Kill on Sight (KOS).

Kingdom Rules

Throne Rotation

Throne rotation will follow the opening of wonder at the Arch of Triumph. Eligibility for throne requires:

  1. Top 5 performance in SvS, triggering the opening of wonder.

  2. Positive point performance in an SvS. An individual who qualifies for the top 5 but has a negative point performance of no more than -750M in that SvS may qualify for throne still if they score at least 500M positive points in a subsequent SvS competition.

  3. The player to not be otherwise declared KOS.

  4. The eligible player to be active on the server. If a player otherwise eligible for throne is inactive for a period of time but subsequently returns to the server, they will be placed back into the relevant place in the throne rotation.

Throne Eligibility

While one can look to the City of Throne to see those who have already served as ruler and to the Arch of Triumph for future throne eligibility, an ordered list of those in line for ruler is provided below for transparency. This will be updated periodically, as the list evolves. Each ruler will serve two consecutive terms unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • No players currently eligible for throne.

In the absence of eligible candidates for the throne, a rotation between ETC and SaS will take place every two weeks. Only monarchs who have Thebes may take the throne.

Kill on Sight

A Kill on Sight (KOS) player is one who has violated server rules without providing compensation and therefore been declared KOS by a ruling King/Queen. When an attack happens, alliances should work together to sort out disputes and compensation as a first effort, but my contact the ruling King/Queen when those efforts fail. The ruling King/Queen has final say regarding compensation for an attack and which players are determined to be KOS for lack of compensation.

Any player may attack a KOS player at any time, and any alliance who harbors a KOS player will also be declared KOS. Because players frequently change their names, the player name, current alliance, and monarch number are listed below:

As stated above, any alliance that knowingly harbors a KOS player is automatically KOS.
